01 Do we have to manage opt-in lists ourselves? +
No. Residents subscribe and unsubscribe from their portal account by category — snow alerts, water main breaks, council reminders, brush pickup. We track unsubscribes per category and respect them on every send.
02 How do we send to the right people for a localized event? +
Audience filters by street, district, utility account, parcel, or saved query. For a water main break on Maple St, filter to the affected blocks and send to that group only.
03 What's the cost per SMS or voice message? +
SMS is included up to a per-resident-per-year fair-use cap. Voice and large-volume SMS are quoted separately by carrier rate. Email and push are unlimited.
04 Can we send notifications in languages other than English? +
Yes. Compose in English; the message goes out to each resident in their subscribed language. Twelve languages on the resident-portal stack at launch; additional languages added on request.
